Your role and responsibilities
Owner of the long-term commercial and customer strategies to achieve success of the NEMA Motors Division strategy across Data Center global segment. Ensure the NEMA Motors Division and related local sales units substantially increase sales, margins, market share and customer satisfaction in the data center market segments. Develop and implement a market-based strategy including direct, third party and project sales for HVAC segment. Lead, manage and coach HVAC segment team members and reinforce global sales efficiency and performance. Build relationships with key internal and external influencers/key customers and leverage ABB strengths to capture new business opportunities. Drive and enhance cross-division, cross-product groups, and cross-region business-led collaboration for the specific market segment. The work model for the role is: Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: * Create, implement, and review Data Center Strategy. Strategy will include plans for End-User, EPC's and influencing OEM's. * Understand and communicate to internal stakeholders Data center general architecture, support infrastructure & applications and correlate to ABB NEMA Motors * Leads the definition of the HVAC Segment as it applies to Data Centers (market presence, execution standards and delivery model); ensures ABB's value proposition for the HVAC segment is developed and well communicated (internally and externally). * Drives a profitable growth by focusing on penetration, innovation, and expansion; supports local Sales organizations to ensure they are positively perceived in the target segment(s). Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor degree PLUS 8+ years experience (bachelors in Engineering or Business Administration preferred)
- Minimum 7 years of directly related customer facing sales experience in the industrial market, product knowledge and leadership.
- Knowledge and experience with Data Center market especially in support infrastructure.
- Strong Sales, relationship, and negotiation skills.
- Data Center market knowledge and strategic vision.
- Able to travel up to 50% domestic and international
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
