Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to define a planning strategy that includes a full list of activities that are important for the management of project, to decide on a project delivery methodology (waterfall, agile, etc.), and to align with stakeholders. Each day, you will plan, schedule, coordinate, and deliver the Information Systems (IS) project outcomes within agreed time, scope, cost, and agreed quality. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating appropriate information to stakeholders promptly to achieve desired understanding and support and
effectively managing stakeholders' expectations and relationships.

You will be mainly accountable for:
* Defining all project documents (jointly with key stakeholders) including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans.
* Using knowledge and experience to forecast contingencies at the initial stages of the project, assessing the availability of information and the risks and issues that may arise during the project and deciding on the best approach to proceed.
* Monitoring and controlling project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.
* Executing IS project communications and reporting IS project performance against the plan and expected
business outcome.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Technology or related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience leading IS projects (ERP, Infrastructure, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Software Deployment, etc.)
  • Project Management/Change Management certifications (e.g. Prosci, ITIL, PMP. Prince2, Agile etc.) would be advantageous.
  • Fluent in English at executive presentation level.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
