Territory Sales Business Development Manager - RMDR Drives Services
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through planning and execution of the Motion Services (MOSE) strategy for ABB Drives and Motors within the assigned region. The TAM will assume responsibility for MOSE's Sales in their assigned territory and the execution of the strategic blueprint to ensure business goals are met. You will be interacting with people from different disciplines: delivery, portfolio, customer support, sales, etc. to align outcomes desired by customers with ABB Services offerings. You will work both the distribution channel and current customer base to sell optimum service solutions in various service vertical markets. We have three open roles in the following territories: Midwest - ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO Great Lakes - IL, IN, MI, WI Northeast - ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NJ, NY, eastern PA The work model for the role is: #LI - Remote This role is contributing to the Motion Service division for Midwest, Great Lakes, and Northeast territories. You will be mainly accountable for: *Responsible for achieving sales quota for drives/motors services in assigned territory and development of key account plans. *Strong end user focus as well as partner with Channel sales team on complex opportunity pursuits. *Provide feedback to Portfolio, Operations and other teams on competitive activity, customer requirements or other improvement needs. *Develop productive relationships at multiple levels within a customers organization. Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years sales experience within a complex industrial distribution business environment
- Sales and application background in Low Voltage Drives/Motors in the Industrial space
- Product and market knowledge in Drive/Motor Services
- Experience in the management of both transactional and recurring revenue offerings
- Strong in the following skills: analytical, effective communication, leadership, collaboration, problem solving, accountability, and presentation
- Familiar with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software tool like SalesForce or similar
- Proven successful delivered expected results
- 50% travel within region required
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
