Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to adapt and implement sales support strategy for a designated area in accordance with the global support strategy. Each day, you will ensure technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. You will also showcase your expertise by overseeing estimations, bids, and proposals ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets and leading, developing, and coaching the Sales Support team. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion - System Drives in New Berlin, WI area. You will be mainly accountable for: *This position is accountable for the staffing, direction, leadership, communication, and performance of all aspects of Inside Sales for Motion System Drives in the United States. *Optimizing existing resources to deliver the highest support levels possible as measured by implemented KPI's. *Ensures the required technical support and clarifications are provided to the Sales organizations during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations with customers. *Engage with internal process owners, stakeholders and business executives as necessary to understand and improve collaboration between teams. Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years' experience of Low Voltage Drives or Medium Voltage Drives required.
- Must have a good understanding of business processes and associated tools, as well as proper management of opportunity sales cycles.
- Must have ability to drive results through solution-oriented thinking leveraging commercial insights in alignment with client's needs
- Experience in the Drives business is beneficial for success in this role.
- Ability to work and excel in a high demand, customer-centric, outcomes-based environment required
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
