Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will perform assignments requiring application of standard software development and engineering principles and practices.
The work model for the role is Hybrid. #LI-Hybrid
Some help with relocation assistance will be provided for this role.
The role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Control Platform division.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Perform activities related to software development assignments using a full software development lifecycle model (Agile) following defined development processes
Activities include requirement analysis which leads to software design and definition, estimation of effort, coding and testing developed software. In addition, activities include support to documenting developed software and responding to customer reported issues
Work in a collaborative environment for all aspects of product development (design, implementation, test and support)
Contribute to group meetings and provide status update on development tasks for progress reporting
Troubleshoot and resolve routine problems and assist in resolving more complex issues

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field required and minimum 4 years of related experience required
  • Experience developing software using a software development lifecycle model and Microsoft technologies, including C++, C#, Visual Studio and Web Services
  • Ability to communicate effectively and resolve routine problems
  • Minimal domestic travel required
