Hours: 3:30 PM - 12:00AM
Pay: 19.25 for 2nd shift (including shift differential)
Benefits start Day 1 including Medical, Dental, and Vision. Planning & Fulfillment Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct testing and inspections during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Each day, you will execute the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines and report any non-compliance.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Molding Department in Hackettstown, NJ Location.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Performing physical pre-testing activities to ensure product quality and validating manufacturing processes.
Inspecting for cosmetic flaws.
Maintaining accurate testing records, data, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems.

Qualifications for the role
  • You enjoy working with semiautomatic testing equipment
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in manufacturing. It is preferred that you have 1 year of experience but not required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • You are at ease communicating in English
  • You hold a work authorization that would permit you to work for ABB in the US
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours daily
  • Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching
  • Comfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment
