This position is to perform skilled work in all phases of residential building inspections and commercial inspections as the need arises to ensure compliance. This is accomplished by performing building inspections to assure compliance with the City's building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing codes, other city ordinances, and state and federal laws. Considerable previous experience required in the same or similar previous positions Physical Demands: Lifting between 25 and 50 pounds. Licenses and Certifications: Valid Arizona Class "D" Driver's License upon hire. Possession of ICC Residential Combination or equivalent Residential Inspector certification is required at the time of application. Preferred / Desirable Qualifications: Experience in a municipal or government setting.
