Job Description Nidec Motor Corporation in Rancho Cordova, CA has one open position for electronic sustainment engineer within the Research and Development Department. Job Descriptions: Supporting the existing elevator products Working with design and development engineers, Quality engineers and other department resources to resolve field and production/vendors' issues Write ECO, and process Cross Approvals for End-of-Life components Has capacity to redesign, test and debug electronic circuitry Review changes and approve PCB on the existing products layout Perform root cause analysis to improve design Write Reports, test's and executes test plans Reports to the Quality and Sustainment Manager Skills: B.S degree in electronic engineering, and min of 5 years' experience in the engineering field or A.S degree in electronic engineering in a combined of min 9 years' experience in the engineering field. Experienced with PCB design tools such as PCAD, Altium, AutoCAD Know how to use test equipment such as oscilloscope, DVM, Logic analyzers... Analytical skills in solving electronic problems/issues. Understand analog/digital/embedded designs and familiar with VHDL is a plus Demonstrated strong communication skills in verbal and written form Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a member in large group across full functional team including suppliers, customers and associates Salary Range - $80k-$85k Additional Job Details Nidec Motor Corporation in Rancho Cordova, CA has one open position for electronic sustainment engineer within the Research and Development Department.
