QPS Employment Group is hiring a Regional Director to oversee the Madison/Fox Valley area of our Region 2 branches in WI. This person will sit at one of our Region 2 Locations: Madison, Baraboo, Beaver Dam, Fond du Lac, Wausau, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Appleton, Oshkosh, Green Bay, and New London. This person will direct the overall operations of the region, providing guidance to next-level leaders, ensuring efficient and effective operations, while leading your team members to execute the company initiatives.

This is a permanent full-time, internal opportunity with QPS. Working hours will be Monday - Friday, 1st shift, and must be flexible to work 40-45 hours a week, coming in early or staying late if needed. The Regional Director will report directly to the RVP of Operations.

What you'll be doing:
  • Directs the overall operations of the region, providing guidance to next-level leaders, ensuring efficient and effective operations, while leading and executing company initiatives
  • Develops region-specific strategic initiatives and contributes to overall company strategy in collaboration with executive team members and the Leadership team, holding staff accountable and adjusting through action planning to deliver intended results
  • Analyzes client relationships and branch performance to ensure a positive, profitable, and proactive customer experience
  • Leads and develops the talent management strategy through understanding market trends, client needs, and the creation of regional high-level plans
  • Approves appropriate forecasts and budget-related decisions that contribute to a profitable region, while holding management accountable
  • Maintains leadership roles, in the course of daily business, acting as spokesperson for the company, within the region, including local board and/or professional chapter participation
  • Supports acquisition and growth targets ensuring cultural fit, adherence to company requirements, and achievement of planned objectives
  • Earns credibility within the region as an expert in areas of workforce development through strategic networking and relationship building
  • Performs a full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, feedback sessions including coaching and development, planning, promoting our company belief system, assigning and directing work; EEO; performance management; budgeting
  • Other duties as assigned
What we look for:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting, and selling services, including marketing strategy and tactics and sales techniques
  • 5+ years supervisor/managerial experience
  • Proven track record of leading a team of skilled professionals, including: goal setting, development planning, coaching, performance appraisals, recruiting and motivating staff
  • Up to 75% of travel
  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's preferred or relevant education and experience
