Position Overview QinetiQ U.S. seeks a Congressional Analyst responsible for tracking, analyzing, developing, and reviewing official agency briefings, policy memos, and correspondence on behalf of a federal law enforcement organization within the Department of Homeland Security. The primary workstreams include developing written products in coordination with programmatic and technical subject matter experts; researching and assessing the impact of policies and legislative activity; tracking and succinctly summarizing the impact of recent court rulings; and offering advisory support and strategic subject matter expertise. Responsibilities
Provide high-level advisory and communications support on an array of activities from interpreting Congressional mandates and drafting testimony, to building presentations for senior executives and offering policy recommendations under quick deadlines.
