As a Senior Quality Engineer here at Bonterra, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the dependability and excellence of our client integrations. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable in a highly collaborative, cross-functional role with a core focus on the design, execution, and maintenance of high-quality test cases. Your experience and ability to lead quality improvement projects will be key to helping us thrive as a team and ensure a smooth experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and maintain test cases and scripts for our Strategic Philanthropy software.

  • Identify, analyze, and document defects; track their resolution to closure.

  • Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools.

  • Collaborate with a team of developers and product managers to understand project requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality.

  • Support and mentor junior quality engineers to build a strong culture within your team.

  • Participate in sprint cycles and contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes.

Requested Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.

  • Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies.

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Proficiency in SQL and a broad understanding of database structure.

  • Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRails) and test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Compensation

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity.

US Base Salary: $93,000 - $103,000
