MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of work-related experience or Master's degree and 5 years in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field including supervision/management experience. Advanced degree is preferred. We are marketing to engineering leadership
  • This job requires a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in business development or Capture Management
  • Performing work in this job's occupational field requires the application of complex, technical professional disciples requiring a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive, applied use of related financial concepts, practices, and methods
  • Proficiency in the interpretation and compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
  • Proficiency in pricing methodologies (fixed priced, Time and Material (T&M), etc.)
  • In relation to other jobs in the same function, this job requires a senior level of proficiency to apply significant job related experience
  • The primary or most necessary skills required for this job are market capture skills. Other important skills include communication, strategic planning, multi-tasking, leadership, autonomy, computer efficiency, and problem resolution
  • Travel will be at least one or more trips per month

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Teams with NSWC to ensure our front line sailors, airmen, and marines are ready for war
  • Researches and analysis of market opportunities where SRC brings value added to our customers
  • Understands our customers' needs better than they do, and finding a way to ensure they succeed
  • Assists Directors in market capture efforts
  • Acts as Capture Manager for critical division capture "Big One" that accelerates business growth
  • Develops and contributes to an annual Division Business Growth Plan that presents analyses conducted for the potential return (i.e., growth) associated with investment into various markets and contract pursuits
  • Prioritizes business pursuit opportunities based on strategic fit, competitive position, and return on investment
  • Conducts proposal price-to-win analyses, develops proposal pricing and reviews, and supports proposal narrative creation for support of the cost proposal
  • Develops marketing strategies for the general division capabilities and tailored campaigns for strategic capture pursuits in assigned areas
  • Leads group capture efforts
