Position Summary

EBI Consulting has an immediate need for a Sr Salesforce Developer to join our IT team. The Sr Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, delivering business functionality across sales, finance, and services/operations, and will possess senior level expertise in Salesforce CRM and PSA (Certinia/FinancialForce). The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into innovative solutions focused on user/employee experience and productivity through process improvements and automation. Expertise should include customization technology, application integrations, process automation, system performance optimization, security and business reporting.

This position reports directly to the Sr Software Architect, and will be either a hybrid or fully in office position, depending on your location and preference. This position requires a minimum of two days per week in office presence at our Burlington, MA corporate headquarters, so candidates need to be geographically close to this area and comfortable with this working arrangement to be considered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and Customize Salesforce Solutions: Build and maintain custom objects, workflows, triggers, and integrations to meet business requirements
• Certinia (FinancialForce Integration): Leverage Certinia (FinancialForce) for accounting, professional services automation (PSA), and revenue management solutions. Ensure tight integration between Salesforce and Certinia modules
• Apex and Visualforce Development: Write, test, and deploy Apex code, Visualforce pages, and Salesforce Lightning components to extend Salesforce capabilities
• API Integrations: Develop and manage API integrations with third-party systems, ensuring smooth data flows between Salesforce, Certinia (FinancialForce), and other business applications
• Process Automation: Utilize Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Certinia (FinancialForce) functionalities to streamline business processes and automate workflows
• Design and Develop AI- driven solutions; recommend AI models to start a POC of AI with Salesforce
• Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity across Salesforce and Certinia (FinancialForce) systems through data validation, cleansing, and regular audits
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize Salesforce and Certinia (FinancialForce) system performance, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• User Support & Training: Provide ongoing support and training to Salesforce and Certinia (FinancialForce) users, ensuring efficient use of the platforms and resolving any user-related issues
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions

Qualifications and Capabilities

• 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, should be proficient in writing & debugging Apex code with a strong understanding of governor limits and performance tuning.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Certinia (FinancialForce) App, opportunity, project and resource management, project billing and rev rec
• Experience with variety of integrated applications and data warehouse/BI solutions
• Experience with modified Agile, DevOps, CI/CD
• Experience with AI Technologies and Solutions preferred
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required, with Platform Developer II preferred
• Certinia (FinancialForce) certifications preferred
• Salesforce Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQLrequired
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, including REST and SOAP APIs required
• Familiarity with FinancialForce ERP, Accounting, and PSA functionality required
