Position Purpose:

The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for supporting the Regional VP of Sales in planning, leading, organizing and executing with his/her team to achieve all defined goals in the areas of new business generation, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The Regional Director of Sales collaborates and partners with other sales leaders in developing skills associated with the effectiveness of new business development (specifically prospecting, call preparation, pipeline management, sales process execution, performance management, presentation skills, hiring practices, etc.) and continually improving quantity and quality of new business generated. The Regional Director of Sales is accountable for supporting achieving the aggregate annual volume, revenue, margin and net contribution targets established in their designated regions. The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for supporting all sales functions in their respective region to optimize their personal performance and individual development. The Regional Director of Sales maintains and enforces company policies, standards, and practices within the region and ensures consistent implementation and adherence to the core purpose, core values and future position within the marketplace.

*Candidate must live or must be willing to relocate to the Region. The Region consist of: California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, & Colorado*

Key Job Activities:
  • Executes on initiatives to improve the overall performance of the market through the use of shared talent and best practices. Ensure alignment with the operations organization.
  • Onboards new DSMs and upskills existing DSMs. Spends time in the field coaching and mentoring districts within the region.
  • Develops and executes on various sales and marketing strategies to achieve budget goals in their respective region.
  • Develops and implements strategies for profitable expansion to new markets and support the implementation of acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Responsible for training and monitoring for compliance, and the execution of the key fundamentals identified by the Regional Vice President of Sales.
  • Continually improves the work methods utilized by each assigned location by providing oversight and by conducting routine location visits to ensure that the best practices and key initiatives are being implemented.
  • Helps drive salesforce.com adoption and overall pipeline motion and compliance.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Education:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent (Commerce and/or Business Studies preferred) with a minimum of 10 years of selling experience in a multiple business branch/unit environment
  • 8 or more years of progressive leadership experience in a multiple business branch/unit environment
  • Experience managing a budget
  • Proven leadership in successfully driving accelerated revenue growth
  • Developed, implemented and delivered "excellent customer service" team culture
  • Successful in realizing business results against objectives: sales management, customer & operations, and administration.
  • Advanced knowledge of sales theory/skills is required.

**Due to Law Disclosure for California, Colorado, and Washington, the base salary ranges from $115,000-$162,000+ based on experience.
