Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Department of Radiology is seeking a full-time instructor, assistant professor, or associate professor of radiology in the Division of Musculoskeletal Radiology. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Diagnostic Radiology with a concentration on Musculoskeletal Imaging. Responsibilities for the person in this role include active participation in clinical and educational endeavors within the Musculoskeletal Division. Applicants must be certified by the American Board of Radiology and fellowship trained in musculoskeletal radiology. Responsibilities include teaching and mentoring FSM trainees and students. In addition to the usual clinical skill sets (Plain Films, CT, MRI, arthrograms/joint aspirations), competence at diagnostic MSK US, image-guided tumor biopsies, and fluoro guided spine interventions including therapeutic pain injections will be expected. Successful applicants will also provide a collegial and collaborative environment that will promote programmatic growth and provide excellent patient care. Excellent facilities are available for all imaging modalities related to musculoskeletal imaging, including 2 mobile fluoroscopy units in the Orthopaedic Clinic in which we perform image-guided joint and spine injections, 11 CT scanners (including one Siemens NAEOTOM Alpha photon counting, two Siemens FORCE DS/DE, one 128 AS+, and several 64-slice units) and 18 clinical MR scanners (including 9 3T units). Finally, we have a Carestream OnSight 3D extremity CT system within the Orthopaedic Clinic. The Department of Radiology faculty provides clinical services to patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) and its Northwestern Medicine affiliates. NMH is a state of the art tertiary medical center is located in downtown Chicago and serves as the primary teaching hospital of the Feinberg School of Medicine.
