Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Advanced Solutions Engineer to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will ensure pre-sales support and design optimal electronic security and access control solutions for customers. As an Advanced Solutions Engineer, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

  • Act as a Champion within BranchServ and with clientele for their assigned product
  • Establish and manage pricing, volume discounts, and all other information in the price book
  • Initiate and support growth opportunities for the product(s)
  • Train themselves and others on their assigned equipment for sales, service, and installation


  • Provide technical support to field personnel including techs and installers
  • Assist the salesperson in specifying equipment for customer proposals
  • Develop product knowledge applications that accelerate growth opportunities for new and existing clients
  • Assist on-site with difficult installations on a very select basis


  • Work with Marketing to create materials that will accelerate understanding and utilization of the product(s)
  • Upload information into the BranchServ Portal
  • Identify Managed Services that can be wrapped around their product(s)
  • Execute thorough competitive analysis to support planned response

    Requirements:



    • Minimum of a bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
    • 10 + years' in relevant product experience preferred.
    • Proven leadership with good oral/written communications
    • Experience understanding and managing a business product P&L
