Overview

The Risk Management Solutions (RMS) desk is responsible for providing foreign exchange, interest rate and workflow solutions to multi-national investment grade and high yield corporations in the Americas. Clients span a variety of sectors including healthcare, consumers, financial sponsors, TMT, industrials, and energy. The Foreign Exchange (FX) RMS desk provides clients with full access to the Corporate and Investment Bank's full product suite, with this role focusing on FX solutions, from basic spot, forwards, swaps (cross-currency), and vanilla options up to more complex structured FX derivatives. The FX RMS desk also provides automated solutions geared towards manual tasks related to intercompany netting and cash pooling workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Origination, and front-to-back execution, including pricing and structuring FX/Rates/Commodities vanilla and exotic products depending on clients' requirements

  • Collaboration with Trading, Structuring, and Corporate Finance; focusing on Chief Financial Officers, Treasurers, and finance departments of corporate clients

  • Liaise with e-trading and product partners for client flow optimization and performance tracking on electronic platforms, and marketing Deutsche Bank's workflow solutions

  • Maximize revenue growth, bring in new clients, increase in client penetration, share of wallet, cross selling, and closing of significant deals

How You'll Lead

  • Negotiate documents (ISDA & CSA terms where applicable), drive approvals processes, restructuring dialogues, etc.

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree required, relevant experience in FX, fixed income trading and sales, or a related field; familiarity with global financial markets and derivatives, and strong quantitative and technical skills

  • Through understanding of ISDA terms and concepts, ability to lead a negotiation from start to finish

  • Comprehensive understanding of key hedge accounting concepts and regulations

  • Ability to lead a pitch both internally and externally

  • Understands the capital structure of a company and identify relevant risk management opportunities

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $130,000 to $275,000.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
