Description

YAGEO Group is seeking a Planner / Data Analyst at our Simpsonville, SC facility to join the Tantalum Corporate Sourcing team. This person will be responsible for Supply Chain planning activities as well as, but not limited to, data analytics and inventory controls related to the sourcing of Tantalum materials.

Essential Functions:



  • Forecast the required supply of qualified Tantalum materials to support production.
  • Establish and administer planning targets which are aligned with the overall Supply Chain Strategy.
  • Oversee the coordination of Reclaimable Tantalum Material for all KEMET locations by strategically determining and arranging imports and exports of the tantalum reclaim according to needs.
  • Execute Oracle transactions related to inventory for Tantalum materials.
  • Accountable for the alignment between Inventory Control and Annually Budgeted Targets.
  • Maintain an accurate and reliable calculation of Tantalum Supply Chain inventory.
  • Generate a simulation of planning and costing "What if" scenarios for Management.
  • Conduct regular internal team meetings to synchronize activities.
  • Create and track Purchase Order Requisitions for Tantalum Supply Chain materials.


Qualifications:



  • Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Oracle / SAP and ability to use other common applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively as well as exemplify exceptional time management skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • Thrive in fast-paced logistics environment.


Education and Experience:



  • Associate's degree or Technical Certificate. Two years' experience with raw material / ERP planning / data analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Finance, Purchasing, Business Administration, or related field is acceptable.
