Description

Requirements:

* BS in Electrical Engineering

* Minimum 2 years Engineering experience

* Effective interpersonal skills

* Ability to present and moderate highly technical materials to diverse audiences

* Excellent proactive problem-solving experience with demonstrated analytical skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office and simulation tools.

* Requires up to 50% travel

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Develop application expertise, ranging from digital processing to high power inverters, in target markets (Computing/Telecom, Industrial, Defense/Aerospace, Medical, Consumer, etc.)

* Develop deep product knowledge across all YAGEO Group brands (YAGEO, KEMET, PULSE)

* Maximize cross-sell opportunities for YAGEO Group products with customers

* In conjunction with sales, be the technical liaison between the customer, product managers and manufacturing teams

* Systematically funnel customer data to the business unit development teams and marketing for inclusion in product roadmaps

* Provide technical training on new products and technologies to customers and sales personnel (direct, manufacturers' representatives and distribution)

* Communicate and understand market design trends and competitive landscape

* Answer technical questions in a timely fashion and resolve technical objections

* Contribute to the expanding ecosystem of our digital design tools

* Participate in industry events, tradeshows, and customer events

Deliverables:

* Increase design funnel for the future revenue

* Assist in Increasing product knowledge with the sales team

* Work closely with Director on ideas and design expansion projects

* Be the "go to resource" for customer engineers and distribution FAE's

* Quarterly reviews with Director, Product Managers, and support team on design activity and trends in the East
