The Presales Engineering Group is the technical lifeblood of the Sales Organization. Our engineers bring to life the innovative solutions that make a difference in the moments that matter. Job DescriptionA Presales Engineering Manager will be expected to be a dynamic, influential, and facilitative leader who will lead the Presales Engineering team as we pursue opportunities within the US Federal Government Department of Defense (DOD) Markets. The DOD Presales Engineering Team includes a broad range of Presales Engineers from experienced to new hire to interns. These engineers are supporting Customer RFPs, and Budgetary Estimate proposals, Proof of Concept trials, Engineering Tools development, Spectrum Policy, and are Trusted Advisors within the US Federal Government DOD market. You will be responsible for working closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, world-class, leading-edge, end-to-end solutions that rise to the challenges of first responder, government, and non first responder customers in any area the US DOD operates. You will hire, develop, and coach your team of Presales Engineers through Performance Management processes in a way that prepares them for a long and successful career as a high performing professional within Motorola Solutions.
