Description

  • Act as the "first point of contact" for CPG's related to business involving Green Planet.
  • Engage with various persons inside the CPG organization, including departments such as Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Accounting, Advertising & Promotion, Research & Development, and any other appropriate area or function.
  • Marshall and coordinate activity or resources from Kaneka to meet the needs of CPG and facilitate use/growth of Green Planet.
  • As requested by management, provide input related to activities at PepsiCo, including but not limited to items such as sales forecasts, and price negotiations, meeting summaries and reports, technical reports, customer complaints, etc.
  • Represent Kaneka Americas Holding, Inc. and affiliated companies any CPG related event, or industry functions and trade shows, including those outside the United States.
  • Provide market intelligence to management and co-workers related to CPG or the Biopolymers industry in general.
  • Participate in meetings/functions related to the Green Planet business.
  • Coordinate CPG-related activity with colleagues at other Kaneka locations, including those outside the United States.
  • Provide prompt and accurate information related to activities involving CPG or industry-related topics.
  • Facilitate interactions with other Kaneka business units (i.e. Residential Foams & Technologies SV) where potential exists for business with PepsiCo.
  • Submit expense reports in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Manage Travel and Entertainment functions in a reasonable and efficient manner.
  • Assist in the creation of sales and expense budgets as requested by management.
  • Participate in Performance Reviews and Kaneka 1 on 1 sessions as outlined by Kaneka policy.
  • Support other KAH/KNA businesses, as requested by management.
  • Participate in Company-related initiatives (i.e. Best Practices) as directed by management.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled training (i.e. Safety, IT) as requested by management.
  • Participate in local functions as needed or appropriate.
  • Actively engage with digital platforms (i.e. SAP) to efficiently perform duties related to the Green Planet business.

Qualifications
Experience
5 - 10 years: Dealing with multi-national companies who are involved in retail sales (required)
5 - 10 years: Experience with major Food or Consumer Products companies (required)
