Description

  • Maintain quality standards and specifications of raw materials and finished product through testing and analysis of results.
  • Ensure that product documentation and testing paperwork are completed properly and clearly.
  • Perform testing for Quality, R&D and/or Technical Service.
  • Operate various analytical and mechanical testing equipment.
  • Perform housekeeping duties and assignments to maintain a clean and safe working environment in all areas of the Lab.
  • Complete and update reports, logs, etc. to ensure that product and standards are within required specifications, and laboratory equipment is operated and maintained properly, with any and all problems clearly communicated to other lab personnel and Supervisors.
  • Follow all safety procedures and all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Assist with team activities, attend monthly safety meetings and any other scheduled meetings.
  • Interact effectively with chemists, technical service, production and supervisors
  • Report test results to the initiator.

Qualifications
Education
Associates of Chemistry / Biochemistry (preferred)
Bachelors of Chemistry / Biochemistry (preferred)
