Job Description: Summary: The person in this position will work with multidisciplinary project teams providing electrical engineering and related technical expertise. Work will include preparing designs, studies, and specifications for medium- to high-voltage facilities including substations, transmission lines, distribution lines, generation (renewable and other), and energy storage systems. Primary customers will be electric utilities, renewable energy developers, and large industrial customers. The ideal candidate must be self-directed and quality driven with enthusiasm for new challenges and a desire to learn. Typical tasks will include completing calculations and analyses; developing design details; preparing drawings, specifications, sketches, and cost estimates; selecting equipment; assisting with writing proposals and reports; and communicating with clients under the supervision of a registered professional engineer. The work will occasionally involve short-term travel, usually one week or less in duration. Minimum Qualifications:

A hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office. This position can be based out of Barr's Fort Collins or Wheat Ridge, Colorado, offices. Colorado Applicants Only: Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $69,888-92,622.40/year. Compensation will vary based on experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus.
