Material Handler Department/Group: Operations Location: Philadelphia Reports to: Production Supervisor FLSA Status: Hourly Prepared By: Mike Viola Date: 10/4/2021 Approved By: Will Hamilton Date: 10/15/2021 Summary of Objective: As a material handler, you will become an integral part of PCI Pharma Services company operations by strengthening our business' efficiency, timeliness and commitment to service. Material handlers are essential to the daily operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for moving inventory and production supplies safely and efficiently from PCI warehouses to the production floor. You will ensure the safe and timely delivery of materials to the production rooms while coordinating with the warehouse (WH) to maximize efficiency, paying careful attention to detail, ensuring the proper completion of every work order. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. 1. Move components to and from warehouse locations as needed in a safe and efficient matter. Ensure materials are properly identified 2. Wraps Skids. Maintain clean floors at all times. Empty pallets stacked neatly. Clean and maintain holding area 3. Must demonstrate ability to transport items safely and efficiently for both QA and Production Coordinators. Must demonstrate competency to accurately complete move transactions 4. Must demonstrate willingness and ability to safely and efficiently access and transport -20 and -40 conditioned material to and from the warehouse storage area. 5. Clean Packaging Rooms 6. Clean Primary Packaging Tooling 7. Change room Pre-Filters as needed 8. Utilize Scanner devices for material movement and understand material handling computer system 9. Move components from Warehouse location as needed 10. Distribute small packages and envelopes 11. Any other duties deemed necessary by Supervisors 12. Work a reasonable amount overtime 13. Must demonstrate ability to type or use a computer 14. Lifting 35-50 lbs. (with 2 person carry) 15. Ability to obtain power equipment certification 16. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. 17. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, EHS, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. 18. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position 19. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
