CCD Assistant Contract Supervisor 1

SUMMARY

Janitorial Services at the Auraria Campus - Community College of Denver. This facility includes 6 Educational and Administration buildings on an Open Campus in downtown Denver. Employees are expected to maintain professional working behavior and are responsible for the Custodial Services at these facilities. The assistant supervisor reports to the contract supervisor acting as the eyes and ears on the production floor. This is a working supervisor type position and applicants should expect routine assignments. This position operates half a shift outside of the morning crew and night crew and will be responsible for quality control between 3:30pm and 8:00 pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning and stocking of restrooms
• Cleaning and stocking of breakrooms, sitting areas, conference rooms
• Trash collection from all waste and recycling receptacles in the aforementioned spaces
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming of all floor materials
• Machine cleaning of floors up to and including but limited to stripping and waxing.
• General custodial maintenance of lobbies and entryways
• Custodial services in stairwells, elevators, and hallways.
• Detail cleaning such as dusting of horizontal surfaces
• Routine checks of stock and accumulated waste
• Adhere to facility safety guidelines related to procedure, PPE, and other company policies,
• Adhere to facility rules on both the Tarmac and in the facilities themselves

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the eyes and ears of the Contract Supervisor on production floor
• Direct supervision of 5-10 Employees
• Inventory
• Quality inspections and reporting
• Customer Interactions
• Mediation between employees
• Reporting directly to Contract Supervisor
• Stock management
• Coverage of necessary facility tasks (Roll up the sleeves when needed)

On occasion the Assistant would need to act as the Contract Supervisor any time the supervisor will be absent

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• High school Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
