Your Role At Baxter:
Responsible for establishing and leading the finance master data governance process Analyze business requirements and holistically look across the various systems to ensure data integrity will remain intact as a result of master data changes Own and define the financial reporting data elements and thresholds for change Ensure data element controls are in place and are being followed Enforce standardization across systems to provide seamless integration and reporting Collaborate with finance business leads to discuss the impacts to reports Effectively influences business leadership on key decisions.
What You'll be Doing:
Lead the master data change management process for FP&A and Consolidations systems to drive accurate financial reporting across the systems Perform the day-to-day governance and review of master data change requests Identify data anomalies and develop a plan to mitigate and prevent future occurrences Ensure controls are in place and are being enforced Maintain various hierarchies and seek to automate processes Partner with other functions to analyze, evaluate and make recommendations Understand relevant business risks, lead appropriate risk assessment, and recommend and drive implementation of changes Collaborate across functions and with other key Finance team members to ensure alignment and the timing of changes Accountable for coordinating master data changes and communicating status updates and results to stakeholders. Coordinate external reporting changes with Consolidations and Investor Relations Lead master data issue resolution and determine and communicate corrective action Participate in the future state process design and operating model design in support of the Cloud ERP system
What You'll Bring:
6+ years of experience with maintaining master data in various systems including ERP, Planning and Consolidation applications, preferably JD Edwards, Planful and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC) systems. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science or related work experience. Ability to influence businesses towards industry best practices. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to achieve results in a dynamic environment with a commitment to meeting critical deadlines. Independently organize and perform most work with minimal guidance and direction. Proactively stays up to date on improved functionality of existing systems and emerging technology trends. Adaptable to innovative ideas and ways of accomplishing tasks. Expert knowledge and technical understanding of business systems functionality and capabilities

The estimated base salary for this position is $112,000 to $154,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
