This position is a grade 10 with a minimum of $16.93 and a mid-point of $20.49. Salary offer will be commensurate with the education/experience, in alignment with the College's compensation philosophy, and the current CBA, if applicable.

Job Summary:
|
An employee in this classification performs work of routine difficulty performing a variety of recordkeeping, database and office support duties requiring attention to detail and adherence to regulatory guidelines to support the truck driving program. General supervision is received by the assigned manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
|
- High school diploma or High School Equivalency (GED/HSE)
- Two years of experience with Microsoft One Drive and Office Suite, and related software
- Ability to proofread and edit work and maintain accurate documentation and updated reference material in compliance with regulatory guidelines and requirements
- Working knowledge of Illinois Secretary of State requirements and regulations for CDL Class A licensure
- Interpersonal skills to facilitate inquiries from internal and external stakeholders

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
|
- Associate degree in business or related field
|
Essential Duties:
|
- Interact with students seeking admission to the CDL program and refer to the program director as needed
- Prepare, track and manage a record of , of student interest in the CDL program
- Work in partnership with the program director to comply with annual changes set forth by federal and state licensing laws
- Assist program director in validating physical and drug test results for students, and assist in entering student information in the federal database and the Secretary of State CDL license testing
- Cultivate and maintain good relations with the IL Secretary of State office
- Collaborate with the college's workforce development division in consultation with the program director to manage WIOA student enrollment
- Partner with the program director to assist in informational sessions with students seeking enrollment in the truck driving program
