Who We Seek
We are seeking a Survivor Mentor to expand our Legacy Mentoring Program and provide one-to-one support to adolescent youth who have been commercially sexually exploited. - Provide written documentation of each contact with your assigned youth using designated reporting forms and data collection forms.
- Work collaboratively with other mentoring team members in developing an appropriate support service, education, and treatment plan for each assigned youth.
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including law enforcement, to enhance each youth's safety and ability to aid in a prosecution, when appropriate.
- Attend supervision meetings with Legacy Program Coordinator as well as staff meetings
- When appropriate, co-facilitate exploitation prevention groups with adolescent youth in schools, group homes, etc.
- Attend trainings as required for position and/or to promote professional development. Track hours to provide to supervisor as requested.
