Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of industrial engineers are, but not limited to

  • Increase overall business process and operations efficiency via data analytics. Consolidate 4M information for capacity simulation based on the latest manufacturing strategy and customer demand to provide guidance in CapEx and Expense decision making.
  • Design, automate and release production/planning/material dashboards to track operations KPI for management visibility.
  • Continuously improve ERP data accuracy via up-to-date routings based on the latest SOP, yield, processing time, sub-inventory locators etc. for precise cost & leadtime roll-up.
  • Make use of value stream mapping or other Lean tools to identify waste for continuous workflow simplification, floorspace and layout optimization to realize cost savings.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Knowledge Engineers to continuously fine-tune BOM structure, item or BOM attributes for existing and NPI models to ensure accurate demand signal population to all LLMs for assurance of supply.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to Digital Transformation programs including MES, APS and modern PLM tool deployment which will fundamentally elevate the existing NPI, supply chain planning and manufacturing models to world-class standards.

Qualifications
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial and/or system engineering
  • Possess good understanding in manufacturing concepts and is able to translate business processes into flowchart for necessary analysis
  • Experienced in simulation software such as Simul8. Versatile in using MS Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL Server etc. for automated data analytics and dashboards creation.
  • Familiar with Lean 6 sigma methodologies and Lean tools
  • Fundamental exposure in BMS, QMS and ISO standards is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal as this role achieves organizational objectives via diverse, cross functional efforts.
  • Proactive, self-driven professional who has a growth mindset and is motivated to resolve complex business problems.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

California pay range: MIN $106,000- MAX $176,000

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
