Responsibilities
Keysight is looking for a proven experienced Account Manager within the test and measurement industry to manage one of the large strategic account in San Diego, extending Keysight reach and taking share from our competitors. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, independent, results oriented sales professional who is self-sufficient for most sales activities. As necessary, the individual will coordinate Keysight resources to create and win business and drive customer satisfaction. Must be able to solve a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity. This individual will be a leader, bringing internal teams together to execute our strategy for sustainable growth and responsible for a high level of customer satisfaction. Strategic Sales Planning
- Creates and deploys sales strategies to increase market share and maintain current business focused on Keysight value and solutions.
- Develop additional sales opportunities from this large customer
- Develop and build long-term relationships and loyalty with customers
- Understands the competition's strategy to win and how to adjust our sales approach accordingly
- Identifies and executes on strategic breakthrough opportunities within the this large accounts that are essential to grow Keysight's business
Sales Innovation
- Demonstrates knowledge and skill in Challenger sales practices, including negotiation, strategic sales skills, creating new opportunities, sales pipeline and closing deals
- Proactively engages and influences all internal resources which includes R&D, Industry Experts, Marketing, and delivery organizations to provide all the essential components needed to maintain and create new business.
Sales Operational Excellence
- Creating and managing an Account Management Plan for this strategic customer
- Rigorously manages the sales funnel - intake, manage and move opportunities through the funnel.
- Continuously learn new products, applications, and technologies
- Actively encourages best practice sharing across the team

Qualifications
- Requires at least 5-10 years of account management experience in the electronic test & measurement sector.
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering
- Strong understanding of electronics test and measurements. Having work experience and understanding of RF and Wireless Chipset test eco system would be added advantage.
- Successful candidates will have a passion for continuous learning and ability to develop strong relationships with customers and internal team members.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Sound business judgment with organization & negotiation skills
- Effective presentation and problem-solving skills
