As the Vice President of AI product management, you will be at the forefront of the Communication Solutions Group (CSG) AI, data-driven product strategy. You will set the vision, roadmap and operating model for AI value creation to drive business growth, operational efficiency and innovation. Leading the strategic direction, design and implementation of AI-driven products.

As CSG's AI leader, reporting into the Senior Vice President, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across the company in a "hub-and-spoke" framework to:

• define and execute CSG's AI product strategy and roadmap that will propel Keysight to become the AI leader in the Design, Emulation, and Test industry, and
• drive technology initiatives across the CSG portfolio to provide the required technology foundations
• drive customer use cases, playbook, product development across the CSG portfolio and technology initiatives in the central AI/ML labs
• As CSG's top AI leader, you will galvanize the broader organization, providing thought leadership and guidance on AI-product related matters. Collaborating with engineering central labs and marketing teams to ensure product success from conception to launch.

This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking in business and technology, leadership skills, and the ability to influence and federate AI product development initiatives across the organization. As part of making Keysight's AI vision real, you will build a focused, high-power business team responsible for the definition and creation of CSG AI product strategy.

Specific responsibilities include

1. AI Strategy: You will develop and execute a comprehensive CSG AI product strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and digital transformation roadmap. Leveraging Keysight's market leading position in Design, Emulation & Test, and cross-Keysight strategic initiatives in data management and workflow optimization, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to create a strategy which delivers rapid impact to the highest immediate value creation opportunities, and scales across CSG businesses, market segments, and technical domains.
2. Visionary Thought Leadership: You will serve as a key thought leader and subject matter expert on AI and its applications. You will interact deeply with customers across CSG, deftly navigating commercial and technical domains, and engaging in market-facing activities aimed at establishing CSG's reputation for excellence in applying AI. Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into product development. This will require hands-on customer engagement to find and define the value creation opportunities.
3. Technical Expertise and Innovation: You will stay at the forefront of AI technologies and commercial approaches, guiding the AI central labs to explore and experiment with new AI algorithms. You will drive product development timelines, manage budgets and oversee resource allocation. Establish metrics to measure product performance and inform future product enhancements.
4. Talent Leadership: You will recruit, nurture, and grow the optimum skills to build a high-quality CSG AI capability. You will define strategies to leverage deep technical domain knowledge in experts across the company to develop breakthrough AI capability. You will facilitate knowledge sharing, workshops, and training programs to build AI product development expertise across the organization.
5. Cross-functional Leadership: You will ensure alignment with strategic goals and best practices, by reviewing project plans, milestones, and deliverables to monitor progress and mitigate risks. You will support project teams by providing technical and strategic guidance and removing roadblocks. Measuring and reporting on the ROI of CSG AI projects, assessing their impact on the organization.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: You will engage with the C-suite and other senior executives, business unit leaders, Product Managers, and R&D teams at all levels of the organization, to understand their needs, challenges, and expectations. You will collaborate with them and direct them to identify AI use cases, prioritize initiatives, and develop business cases for AI products and solutions. You will build strong relationships and partner closely with the central AI team
7. Communication and Collaboration: You will communicate at all levels, from Board of Directors to individual contributors, deftly modulating your style and tone for each audience. You will effectively communicate AI concepts, strategies, and project updates to both technical and non-technical teams. You will foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, encouraging cross-functional teams to share ideas, learnings, and successes.
8. AI Governance and Standards: Supported by functional leaders and organizations, you will oversee data governance frameworks, policies, and standards for AI product development initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, ethical guidelines, and data privacy protocols.

• Master's degree or PhD SW development, Computer Science or related field, and experience as an established AI strategic planning, product strategy or product management leader.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling AI products.
• Proven experience managing, inspiring, and developing teams to drive innovation and business leadership across CSG AI strategy.
• Knowledge of markets, applications and use cases relevant to Keysight businesses, such as commercial communications, aerospace/defense, and industrial electronics.
• Demonstrated experience driving organizational change and promoting a culture of innovation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex business challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously, set priorities, and deliver high-quality results
• Strong technical expertise in AI, machine learning algorithms, data analytics and related technologies.
• Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach to product development.
• Solid understanding of data governance, model validation, and ethical considerations in AI.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in product leadership with at least 5 years focused on AI-driven products.
• Experience contributing to strategic leadership and management of a Department, Business Unit or Research and Development group in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, in a range of contexts (e.g. Board of Directors, executives, broader engineering community, technical presentations and publications)

Santa Clara, CA pay range: MIN $227,520 - MAX $379,200
