Responsibilities

KGSO Engineering is responsible for service technologies that enable Keysight Service Engineers and self-maintainer customers to efficiently repair, calibrate, optimize, and deliver value added services. Service technologies include automated calibration test systems, diagnostic reasoning engines, advanced measurement algorithms, mobile test labs, remote support technologies, and knowledge databases. KGSO Engineering solutions ensures best in class measurement confidence.

Working with other engineers and measurement experts in KGSO Engineering, you will be part of a team that creates custom system calibration solutions for aerospace/defense and wireless communications manufacturers to ensure that their complex test systems meet performance specifications. You will be responsible for modeling and simulating the equipment and components that make up a customer's system as well as the equipment in Keysight's system calibration solution.

Your job will also include developing measurement procedures and incorporation of these procedures into automated test software. You will also work on a variety of Keysight test equipment products including, but not limited to, dc power supplies, digital multimeters, dc and ac calibrators, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, signal generators, power sensors and meters, and network analyzers. Training will be provided as needed.

  • Signal path modeling methodologies (dc to rf/uW)
  • New measurement science using PNA-X, a FLUKE AC/DC calibrator and modular products
  • System level diagnostic & calibration software and supportive tools
  • Professional Service methodology
  • Analytic software

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience with special emphasis on measurement science.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in measurement science related roles or calibration procedure development.
  • Experience in the use of electronic measurement instruments.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal & communications skills.
  • Excellent team player who is flexible, responsive & accountable.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, out-of-the-box thinker.

Desired Skills

  • Programming skills that include MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Deep knowledge of Keysight test and measurement products a plus.
  • Experience in test automation software.
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to interact with wide variety of customers.

Salary Range: MIN $115,000.00 - MAX $181,000.00
