Requisition ID req30807 Working Title Contracted Employee Position Grade 99 Position Summary Provides specifically contracted professional services on a one-time or occasional or on-call basis, the total duration of the employment contract NOT TO EXCEED 3 CONSECUTIVE WORKING DAYS OR MORE THAN .25FT/520 HRS PER YEAR. Music Accompanying in any of the following courses offered by the Theatre and Dance Department. African Dance, Ballet, Contemporary, Flamenco, Hip Hop, Choreography, Musical Theatre. Positions are contingent upon need each semester as determined by student enrollment levels, current course offering matrix, and demand driven by graduation requirements. Positions may be filled or eliminated each semester up to the deadline for students to drop or add courses. Candidates who are selected for these positions will report to the Department Chair. Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications Please refer to posting information for specific minimum requirements for this classification description. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications Preferred: Accompanist experience in a post-secondary institution. A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities. Ability to demonstrate tested experience that the Department of Theatre and Dance has determined to be a fit for accompanying the faculty/instructor of a course.
