Job Description

Overview: The Manager of Experiential Learning drives student success by connecting with local employers and tailoring learning experiences to match market needs. This role involves creating and managing experiential learning opportunities, coordinating programs, and supporting students in their career development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee work-based learning programs, including materials, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Maintain infrastructure and technology for university-wide experiential learning.
  • Coordinate employer site visits, internships, job shadowing, and other learning experiences.
  • Evaluate student performance, conduct site visits, and ensure safety and compliance.
  • Collaborate with university departments and local employers to enhance student education.
  • Manage job postings and outreach for internships and other opportunities.
  • Assist students with career exploration, resume reviews, and mock interviews.
  • Organize competitive employer projects like hack-a-thons and design competitions.
Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to new technologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred: Master's degree in Higher Education, Human Resources, Social Science, or related field; experience in career development, higher education, or talent recruitment.
Anticipated Hiring Range

Starts at $51,875 annually, commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity.
