The National Legal Recruiting Assistant will support the firm's entry-level and lateral recruiting processes, working closely with the Director, Managers, and other members of the Legal Recruiting team. This role also involves assisting with various event planning initiatives, including the annual multi-day Summer Associate Retreat. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Additionally, the candidate should be able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and professionalism in all tasks. #LI-hybrid #LI-hybrid



Responsibilities

    Assist with the planning and coordination of the firm's summer associate program and law student recruitment efforts, including on-campus interviews, outreach events, law student group sponsorships, and marketing materials. Support local office recruiters as needed.
  • Interface with candidates, search firms, and law school administrators to facilitate recruitment efforts and maintain relationships.
  • Support the recruiting process by posting positions, entering interview schedules, sending and collecting information related to the recruitment process, and generating reports.
  • Maintain the firm's applicant tracking system, ensuring its functionality, troubleshooting issues, and auditing candidate statuses.
  • Prepare firmwide data reports and presentation materials for various recruitment meetings and initiatives throughout the year.
  • Process invoices, reimbursements, and expense reports; monitor and manage expenses related to recruitment activities.
  • Update and maintain the Legal Recruiting intranet site and document management systems.
  • Complete surveys on behalf of the Legal Recruiting team.
  • Perform special projects and additional responsibilities as needed to support the Legal Recruiting team and drive recruiting initiatives forward.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a professional office environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with database solutions/applicant tracking software as well as virtual platforms is a plus.
