Description Large Tank Assembler is responsible for assembling plastic frames and glass pieces to make 55-to-210-gallon aquariums. They will spread adhesive on seams to form a waterproof seal, clean and inspect the aquarium for quality and package the finished product. Shift Details: Monday - Thursday, 5am - 3:30pm with Potential Overtime on Friday Location: Franklin, WI KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Determine production schedule for the day and obtain all necessary supplies. Wash front, back and bottom pieces required for the day's production and move to assembly area. Apply adhesive to frames and the sides of the front and back glass. Place bottom glass into frame, apply second layer of silicone over all base seams; add front, back and side glass; tape outside corners to hold in place. Smooth all silicone seams, remove outside tap, add top and visually inspect for alignment. Clean finished tank by removing all tape, stoning sharp edges, removing excess adhesive, add final layer of silicone to inside base seam and smooth, add labels and move to pallet. Fold cardboard around tank, slide or lift into position on pallet and move finished pallets to storage area. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Forklift experience preferred. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Ability to work as a team member and work cooperatively with an assigned partner. Perform repetitive tasks with speed and accuracy. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. WORKING CONDITIONS Must be able to stand/walk for a 10-hour shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
