DESCRIPTION: The mission of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism (FCAS) is to win the hearts and minds of non-Jews and Jews through powerful positive messaging and partnerships, motivating and equipping them to be defenders of and upstanders for Jews. FCAS focuses on spreading the Blue Square and associated programs to spur action by people of all backgrounds. Working with a network of partners, FCAS leverages unique monitoring technology to drive effective rapid response to Jewish hate and all hate, in addition to proactive programs that galvanize popular support for the Jewish community.

SUMMARY: The Sports Partnership Manager position is responsible for overseeing the FCAS sports activities, creating and executing partnerships and programs, and assisting the related marketing campaign, to create a movement within the sports community to combat Jewish hate and all hate.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Create and refine FCAS sports strategy to combat Jewish hate and all hate
  2. Engage leaders across sports, including professional leagues, teams, and players to commit to actions that drive awareness about Jewish hate and all hate
  3. Plan and execute convenings and large-scale events to further advance the FCAS mission
  4. Assist Marketing team to execute advertising and messaging campaigns that leverage sports
  5. Develop programs and partnerships that engage fans across sports
  6. Create and activate programs focused against youth sports to combat Jewish hate and all hate
  7. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with sports industry leaders, marketing associations and advisors
  8. Collaborate with community partners (ex. ADL and others) who are already active in this space to create and execute programs
  9. Integrate sports leaders into FCAS campaigns, programs, and events
  10. Ensure leagues' and teams support of FCAS campaigns on owned and operated channels
  11. Develop plans alongside leagues and teams for stadium advertising and other Blue Square activations at live sports events
  12. Partner with FCAS team and leadership to ensure integration with other FCAS activities, including marketing, partnerships and fundraising
  13. Special projects and assignments as business dictates
  14. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within the sports industry preferred
  • Background in causes, nonprofits, global issues, societal problems related to bigotry, prejudice, and/or hatred, and/or Judaism a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Exemplary communication skills, both oral and written
  • Organized and flexible with the ability to oversee multiple projects, assignments, and tasks simultaneously, with critical ability to pivot in order to capture opportunities
  • Extremely proactive and analytical to deliver detail-oriented results in a fast-paced team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suites
  • Must have attention to detail and focused concentration
  • Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently
  • Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness
