Senior Human Resources Generalist

Position Description:


Ryerson has an opportunity for a Senior HR Generalist to join our Human Resources' team responsible for our Atlantic Multi-Market. This candidate may also support other professionals based within the Regional office.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

* Coach and train leadership to drive robust performance management processes to include talent development and succession planning
* Liaise with leadership to foster performance plans as necessary
* Support Talent Acquisition strategy to drive comprehensive recruiting efforts for client groups
* Support efforts to ensure compensation and payroll activities are facilitated effectively
* Utilize HRIS data analysis to advise the business of critical trends while helping develop actionable plans as necessary
* Lead and assist as necessary in the investigation of and proper disposition of associate concerns
* Generalist responsibilities with the ability to act both strategically and tactically.
* Previews employment actions to identify and mitigate risk before decisions are made

Position Requirements:


* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
* 5+ years of Generalist or Specialist experience in Human Resources. Previous experience in supporting both corporate and remote field employees
* Proficiency in ADP payroll and HRIS, MS Office
* SAP HRIS experience a plus
* Required to travel approx 30% of the time to various locations in New Hampshire, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Massachusetts, & Tennessee.

Salary: $75,745 - $113,618 annually. A starting salary higher than $75,745 (minimum pay rate) annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale
