POSITION SUMMARY

Trail Groomers are responsible for the maintenance of Stratton's trails. You will be expected to operate machinery in an effective and safe manner. Trail Groomers must be willing to work evenings and overnight shifts. A typical shift is from 4pm - 4am, with 1 daytime shift and 1 night shift. This is a seasonal position, with part time and full-time positions available. Pay starting at $20.75/hour, compensation will be dependent upon experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Preform trail grooming functions, repair hazards encountered
  • Pre-operation checkout and fueling of vehicle
  • Secure work site nightly in a reasonably safe manner, (i.e. holes marked, equipment keys removed).
  • Communicate with Grooming Supervisor and Mechanics about trail and equipment needs
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date logs on equipment used
  • Additional duties as assigned


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education:
  • High School diploma or GED


Experience:
  • Experience as snowmaker/trail crew a plus


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Valid drivers license, must meet Stratton's Driving Policy Standards


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
