Primary Responsibilities: Manage switchboard - receive and distribute incoming calls professionally, politely and efficiently Greet and welcome visitors Mail - manage the incoming and outgoing mail including overnight mail and deliveries Manage the distribution and recording of incoming and outgoing policy books Assist with management of office and other supplies including monitoring needs and stocking received goods Print and distribute carrier documentation which is received electronically Update electronic carrier communication logs daily Assist with daily maintenance of conference rooms and dining facilities Keep copy machines stock with paper Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to basic policies, procedures and processes Interacts effective and courteously, in person, by telephone, and in writing with co-workers and other business professionals Utilizes available technology to carry out responsibilities Ability handle and prioritize changing assignments and priorities Qualifications: Education/Designations High school diploma or equivalent required Work Experience Three (3+) years' experience in a receptionist position preferred. Skill Requirements Good verbal and written communication skills Organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a team environment Projects professional appearance and manner Self-starter with the ability to be flexible High attention to detail Own mistakes and takes corrective action Physical Requirements Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers Ability to stand or sit at a workstation during a standard workday Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine and printer Ability to move about the office to access office machinery and supplies Mental Requirements Ability to work and meet challenging deadlines and expectations Job entails meticulous attention to detail.
