AITC is a fast-growing, proven Information Technology Company focused on Network and Systems Engineering and Integration, Professional Services, Medical Simulation, Test and Training Systems and End-To-End Product and Technology solutions. AITC provides expert support in Information Systems Design and Cyber Security, Strategic Planning, Program and Project Management, Security Risk Assessment, and Logistics for Federal Government and Public Sector markets.
Position Overview
The VP of Operations will develop, refine, and implement operational strategy including service, quality management, customer outreach, processes, workflows, communications, and procedures. The VP of Operations works closely with senior management team to create, implement, and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company. The VP of Operations will be an extension of AITC to the client, the community and industry partners and support AITC's existing business, organic growth of the business base and new opportunities. The VP of Operations will serve as a process owner for ISO and CMMI policies, standards, and procedures.
Responsibilities / Duties



  • Oversee Program Operations and customer satisfaction and success.
  • Develop and implement strategies, procedures and business plans needed to enhance company growth.
  • Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on all matters related to business operations.
  • Track and report on operating results to ensure consistent growth and progress towards achieving divisional goals.
  • Represent the company in meetings with key clients, investors, regulatory agencies, or other external parties.
  • Responsible for aligning departmental strategy or direction with the overall goals of the organization.
  • Develop policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.
  • Provide Business Analytics for opportunities, work products and deliverables.
  • Develop, maintain, and expand Teaming Relationships for company services.
  • Identify opportunities on existing contracts and task orders and coordinate pricing.
  • Manage and support forecast of activities to expand business base in assigned areas.
  • Create strategy to further expand organic growth business or functional area capabilities.
  • Identify support for corporate proposal development efforts and past performance.
  • Serve as an integral part and driver of the strategic planning, budgeting. and forecasting of business requirements and decision-making process.
  • Ensure that risk is effectively addressed in all aspects of the business.
  • Lead EPG meetings as part of company's ISO and CMMI policies, standards, and procedures review.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
  • Some Travel Required.


Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 10+ years executive level operational experience in GOVCON sector.
  • Background and knowledge of IT Solutions and capabilities
  • Financial reporting capabilities including budgeting and cash flow management.
  • Proven record of profitable operations management
  • Firm understanding of managing Information Technology (IT) PMO's
  • Possess executive-level communication and influencing skills with the ability to resolve issues.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, ppt, project)
  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with ISO and CMMI policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Secret Level DoD Clearance with Top Secret Eligibility.



Preferred skills & knowledge



  • MBA in business or related field
  • PMP Certification
  • Thorough understanding of project management processes, techniques, and tools:

    • A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
    • International business experience.




  • Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military, civilian, and contractor elements.
  • Ability to work under stress with tight schedule deadlines.
  • Have working knowledge in Costpoint.
  • Proficient with database software, website tools (primarily Teams and Teams Apps.)



Physical Demands
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds occasionally and walk short distances. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading.
