Custodian

Position Purpose: Cleans offices, conference rooms, break rooms, bathrooms, hallways, stairways of assigned buildings on a consistent basis

Essential Responsibilities

* Sweeps, mops and polish floors in rooms and hall

* Limited window/glass washing of interior & exterior doors.

* Dusts and/or polishes furniture, blinds, and equipment

* Cleans restrooms and fills dispensers

* Vacuum and spot clean rugs, carpets, and furniture using commercial-type vacuum cleaners and cleaning products.

* Reports malfunction of bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, and/or damages to room and hall furnishings to supervisor for repair/maintenance.

* Stocks area with appropriate supplies

* Moves furniture, equipment, or fixtures as required.

* Washes dishes or utensils as required
