Our manufacturing facilities in Raeford and Rockingham, NC are excited to welcome increasing number of employees from Haiti. We are looking for full-time translators/interpreters to work both day and night shifts to support our managers and new employees to ensure complete and accurate communications.

The Translator role is an important part of our manufacturing team that allows for complete and comprehensive communications with employees to ensure full understanding of key information and full engagement. As a Translator, your responsibilities will include both verbal and written translation services to include carefully reading and comprehending the context of the given material and proofreading the final translations. You will also be a key part of helping our new employees to assimilate to their new environment and feel engaged with the operation.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Engage daily with our Haitian community and supervisors.
  • Read given material and research industry-specific terminology.
  • Facilitate verbal conversations between managers, employees and coworkers.
  • Translate a variety of documents from one language to another, while maintaining the content, context, and tone of the original text. Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and fluency.
  • Attend and translate meetings to help facilitate effective conversations between Creole speaking and English-speaking employees, take notes, and recap meetings as needed.
  • Translation/interpreter needs may include assistance outside of plant communications such as community interactions, doctor's appointments, etc.
  • May be asked to support across both locations, depending on needs and availability of translators.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect the integrity of sensitive information.



Qualified candidates will have the following:



  • Fluent in Haitian Creole
  • Good interpersonal skills to connect and engage easily with people
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
  • Familiarity with translation software.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Time-management skills.
  • Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
  • Open to flexible work hours to support 24 hour operation as needed
  • Prior experience as a translator/interpreter helpful but not required
