Description

Cone Denim, a global leader in denim authenticity and sustainable innovation for more than 130 years is looking to fill the position of Product/Operations Analyst, based out of its division headquarters in Greensboro, NC.

The Product/operations Analyst will work as part of the Cone Denim division in support of operational reporting and sales. In this role you will provide reporting and analysis support to assist the areas of operational planning, product development, sales, inventory control, budgeting and forecasting.

Specific work responsibilities include:



  • Support the product development team by handling product certifications, tracking development progress for the China region, and submitting fabrics for analysis
  • Issue reports such as daily sales, forecast, and Top 20
  • Analyze market and product trends for upper level management
  • Collaborate with sales to pull together business plan numbers, assist with budget and rollup for annual operating plan
  • Work with customers to sell off-quality goods and help keep inventories down
  • Assist with presentations to upper level management, sales, and product development teams


Depending on the candidate's background there are opportunities for exposure and responsibilities in other areas of the business.

Qualified candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a textile related or business-related field along with excellent math skills and advanced Excel proficiency. A solid understanding of textile manufacturing processes and fabric constructions is preferred. Previous work experience with reporting and analysis and proven success in detailed oriented positions also preferred.
