WORKING PROCEDURES:



01.



Checks warp for broken filament.



02.



Lays in comb at beginning of set. Patrols creel to ensure proper tension.



03.



Check for tight ends.



04.



Count the number of ends from creel and compare to section beam ticket.



05.



Start the warper.



06.



Repairs stops by tying proper knot in broken ends (slasher knot)



07.



Records stops on set report.



08.



Doffs and wraps full section beams in the correct manner.



09.



Place beams in rack-o-matic



10.



Log beams in computer.



11.



Keep waste to a minimum



12.



Assist creelers with lot changes.



13.



Patrols creels for mixtures, defects to yarn.



14.



Keeps work area clean, neat and orderly.



15.



Observes safety precautions as established by the department.



16.



Participates in department safety program



17.



Responsible for quality, safety and production while on the job.
