Dartmouth College: School of Arts & Sciences: Sciences: Chemistry Location Hanover, NH Open Date Sep 01, 2024 Description The Department of Chemistry at Dartmouth College invites applications for a full-time tenured appointment (Associate or Full Professor). We seek applicants who will continue to grow a nationally recognized research program in materials chemistry. We particularly seek qualified candidates who strive to innovate in a manner that will eventually drive unique collaborative research projects within the department and involve other Dartmouth researchers, including those at the Thayer School of Engineering, Geisel School of Medicine, the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Norris Cotton Cancer Center, and/or Irving Institute for Energy and Society. Qualified candidates will have the potential to excel at teaching in both our undergraduate and graduate curriculum. Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars are supported by the Guarini School for Graduate and Advanced Studies, which hosts several diversity and inclusion initiatives. Qualifications Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related discipline. Responsibilities include research and classroom teaching for undergraduate and graduate students.
