Location: This position will be on-site full-time in Rancho Dominguez, CA. The position holder will need to be within commuting distance (within 45 min).

Machine Operator Summary:

Working individually or in teams / cells, an Operator I is responsible for accurately and efficiently operating equipment and performing duties required to produce products the meet customer quality, delivery schedules and cost standards while following all safety policies. They may complete documentation in accordance with existing policies and procedures and may participate in continuous improvement activities.

Machine Operator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs production operations including but not limited to vertical, horizontal, or skiving equipment operation as trained on and packaging.
  • Understands and completes process documentation including but not limited to production orders and travelers, to ensure compliance to customer requirements.
  • Visually reviews and inspects parts for non-conformance to customer specifications.
  • Monitors operations to assure quality and productivity match documented work instructions and notifies appropriate personnel when discrepancies exist.
  • Labels containers of WIP, partials, non-conforming parts and finished goods.
  • Performs set-up of machine operations.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.
Machine Operator Qualification Requirements:
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
  • One year of production manufacturing experience including blueprint reading, basic math skills and use of standard and metric measuring equipment and basic computer skills preferred. Training will be provided.
  • Ability to read measurement devices.
  • Must work well in a team environment.

Pay
Range:
$19 - $20 per hour. Offer is dependent on the market location, the
individual's related skills and background.
