What you'll gain:

As a
Manufacturing Operations Intern, you will gain valuable knowledge and
experience in the field through hands-on activities, coaching, and projects. A
few learning opportunities include:

Process Optimization: Assisting in the analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Production Support: Supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations, including monitoring production lines, addressing operational issues, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.

Data Analysis: Collecting and analyzing production data to identify trends, track performance metrics, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Equipment Maintenance: Assisting with the maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Quality Control: Helping with quality control processes, including inspecting products, conducting tests, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Documentation: Maintaining and updating manufacturing documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and production reports.

Project Involvement: Participating in projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes, implementing new technologies, or enhancing overall operations.

Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to support manufacturing operations and achieve production goals.

What you need to be successful:

Education:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship
Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0

Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Basic project management or organizational skills.

Personal Attributes:
Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part
of a team.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.

Availability:
Willingness to commit to the internship duration, typically 10-12
weeks for a summer internship.
Ability to work in the location where the internship is offered.
