What you'll gain:

As an
Industrial/Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern, you will gain valuable
knowledge and experience in the field through hands-on activities, coaching,
and projects. A few learning opportunities include:

Process Analysis: Analyzing existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Lean and Six Sigma: Applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and improve process efficiency.

Workflow Optimization: Developing and implementing solutions to optimize workflow and enhance productivity.

Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering and analyzing data to support continuous improvement initiatives and measure their effectiveness.

Project Management: Participating in and managing projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Standard Operating Procedures: Assisting in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.

Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain, to drive continuous improvement efforts.

Training and Support: Providing training and support to employees on new processes and improvement initiatives.

What you need to be successful:

Education:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a field related to the internship
Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0

Skills:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Basic project management or organizational skills.

Personal Attributes:
Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part
of a team.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.

Availability:
Willingness to commit to the internship duration, typically 10-12
weeks for a summer internship
Ability to work in the location where the internship is offered
