Job Description

Job Summary: This full-time, in-person position will support the SBC Operations and Compliance Manager in managing the SBC portfolio and processes, perform client outreach, and coordinate with state agencies and other departments within the Bank.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Support the SBC Operations and Compliance Manager.
  • Conduct compliance-related outreach to SBC clients regarding cannabis licensing, seed to sale tracking, annual questionnaires, investigations, etc.
  • Coordinate with state agencies.
  • Coordinate with other departments: BSA, branch operations, analytics, etc.
  • Research compliance-related issues and regulatory updates.
  • Generate and analyze reports.
  • Review and resolve compliance system alerts.
  • Quality control review.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.



JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Exceptional communication skills. Comfortable making several client calls/day, sending numerous emails.
  • Ability to develop a strong rapport with clients and deliver exceptional service while efficiently obtaining information. Diligently follow up until required information has been obtained.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently as well as within the team framework.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skill.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to balance multiple projects.
  • Intellectual curiosity and desire to continue to learn and develop on a daily basis.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/365 applications: Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Must be capable of commuting to the Medford office on a daily basis, but will likely have the option of working 1-2 days/week remotely.

Experience and Skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years in a customer facing role required
  • 2+ years in the banking/financial services/compliance and/or cannabis industry preferred
